City of Brampton earns national award for financial reporting excellence for the 24th consecutive year

The City of Brampton has received the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CAnFR) from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the 24th consecutive year. The award recognizes excellence in municipal financial reporting across Canada and the United States.

The City prepares and publishes a comprehensive annual report designed to be clear and accessible for residents to understand. The report exceeds the minimum requirements of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
