Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a Dangerous Driving investigation.
On Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:30 p.m., police received multiple calls for vehicles driving erratically in the College Plaza parking lot in the City of Brampton. Police arrived on scene and observed a Black Jeep Wrangler performing several reckless maneuvers while endangering pedestrians in the area.
After a brief interaction with police, the driver of the Black Jeep sped away from officers, accelerating through the crowded parking lot in a dangerous manner, striking a traffic sign on the way out. The driver has been identified as Gurprit SINGH, age 26, from Brampton. He is believed to be evading police, and a warrant of arrest has been issued for the following offences:
- -Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle
- -Obstruct Peace Officer
- -Flight from a Peace Officer
