His Worship Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton, to Break Ground on New Purpose-Built Rental Housing Development at 1925 Cottrelle Boulevard.
Brampton, Ontario — A significant milestone in Brampton’s continued growth and housing development will be marked with the groundbreaking ceremony for a new 174-unit purpose-built rental apartment building at 1925 Cottrelle Boulevard.
The ceremony will be attended by His Worship Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton, who will serve as Chief Guest and formally break ground on the project. Other dignitaries attended include Regional Councillor Paul Vicente.
The project, known as Valley Creek Apartments, is being advanced by Pushap Jindal, President of Jindal Developments Ltd. The development will introduce a modern 10-storey purpose-built rental apartment building designed to provide long-term rental housing for Brampton residents.

Located along Cottrelle Boulevard, the site is situated within an established and growing area of the city, with access to nearby roads, transit, schools, parks, commercial amenities, and community services. The project will provide a range of rental housing options, including studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units, helping serve individuals, families, seniors, newcomers, and residents seeking secure and professionally managed rental accommodations.
The development includes carefully planned site design features such as underground and surface parking, visitor parking, bicycle parking, pedestrian walkways, barrier-free access, landscaped areas, loading facilities, snow storage areas, and fire route access. These elements have been incorporated to support accessibility, safety, functionality, and long-term site operations.
G-Force Urban Planners & Consultants, led by Manni Chauhan, MCIP, RPP, Principal Planner, played an instrumental role in advancing the project through the municipal planning approval process. The planning team was directly involved in obtaining the necessary Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment, and Site Plan Agreement, helping move the project from concept through approval and toward construction.
At a time when Brampton continues to experience significant population growth and increasing demand for rental housing, this purpose-built rental development will contribute meaningfully to the City’s housing supply. The project reflects the importance of collaboration between private-sector investment, professional planning, municipal leadership, and community-focused development.

The groundbreaking ceremony will recognize the contributions of Jindal Developments Ltd., G-Force Urban Planners & Consultants, the project consultants, City staff, elected officials, and community partners who helped bring the development to this important stage.
