Darrin Cameron, 42, Arrested In Connection With Motor Vehicle Theft Investigation In Toronto, One Suspect Outstanding

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a wanted man.  

It is alleged that:

  • On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, two men were involved in the theft of a motor vehicle in the Culford Road and Woolton Crescent area
  • Officers attended the call and were assaulted while attempting to arrest the men who were on scene
  • The stolen vehicle was recovered
  • One man was arrested and the second man fled the area in a grey Honda Civic

Darrin Cameron, 42, of Toronto was arrested and charged with:

  1. Theft of Motor Vehicle
  2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  3. Possession of Break-In Instrument
  4. Possession of Automobile Master Key
  5. Assault Peace Officer
  6. two counts of Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest
  7. two counts of Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
  8. Obstruct Peace Officer

The outstanding man is described as 6′, medium to heavy build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, lighter colored pants, light shoes with a darker sole. He was last seen driving a grey coloured Honda Civic. The vehicle was last seen in the Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.
