Diljit Dosanjh Set To Perform At Latin Grammy Awards In Las Vegas

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is set to make history as the first Indian artist invited to perform at the Latin Grammy Awards, marking another major milestone in his expanding international music career.

The Latin Recording Academy has confirmed Dosanjh’s participation in the 27th annual Latin Grammy Awards, scheduled to take place on November 12, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The announcement places the Punjabi superstar alongside some of the biggest names in international music, highlighting the growing global influence of Punjabi artists and the increasing crossover between South Asian and Latin American music.

Celebrating the announcement on social media, Dosanjh and his team shared his signature phrase, “Punjabi aa gaye Grammy oye,” reflecting the excitement surrounding his upcoming appearance.

Diljit joins international stars at Latin Grammys

Dosanjh will share the stage with a lineup of internationally recognized performers, including Karol G, Rosalía, Daddy Yankee, Bizarrap, Bad Gyal, Anitta and DJ Premier.

Puerto Rican actor and singer Roselyn Sánchez will host the ceremony for the tenth time.

The three-hour awards broadcast is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, with pre-show coverage starting at 7 p.m.

The event will be televised on Univision, UNIMÁS and Galavisión, with streaming available through ViX.

Although the Latin Recording Academy has confirmed Dosanjh’s participation, details regarding his performance, including the songs he will perform and possible collaborations, have not yet been announced.

Punjabi superstar expands global reach through Latin music collaborations

Dosanjh’s inclusion in the Latin Grammy lineup follows his growing involvement in cross-cultural music collaborations, particularly with Latin American artists.

He previously collaborated with Colombian singer Camilo on the track Palpita, blending Punjabi and Latin musical influences.

More recently, Dosanjh joined Puerto Rican reggaeton star Daddy Yankee for the single Pokito, further strengthening his connections with the Latin music industry.

These collaborations reflect his efforts to introduce Punjabi music to new international audiences while experimenting with musical styles beyond traditional regional boundaries.

His upcoming Latin Grammy performance represents another step in that expansion, bringing Punjabi music to one of the world’s most prominent international music award ceremonies.

Another milestone after historic Coachella performance

Dosanjh has steadily expanded his international presence in recent years, performing at major global music festivals and venues.

In 2023, he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, a landmark appearance that attracted international attention and introduced his music to a wider audience.

His performance at Coachella helped establish him as one of the leading global representatives of contemporary Punjabi music.

Since then, Dosanjh has continued to build his international profile through concert tours, musical collaborations and appearances at major entertainment events.

His selection for the Latin Grammy Awards further demonstrates the increasing visibility of Indian and Punjabi performers in the global music industry.

Latin Grammy appearance comes amid Aura India Tour

The announcement comes as Dosanjh continues his Aura India Tour, performing for audiences across the country.

Following his appearance at the Latin Grammy Awards on November 12, the singer is scheduled to return to India for his next concert in Indore on November 15.

The upcoming performance adds another international engagement to an already busy schedule that includes live concerts, music releases and collaborations with artists from different musical traditions.

For the Punjabi music industry, Dosanjh’s participation in the Latin Grammy Awards represents a significant moment of international recognition.

As Punjabi music continues to reach audiences beyond South Asia, his appearance at the ceremony highlights the growing opportunities for Indian artists to participate in major global music events.

With the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards approaching, attention will now turn to Dosanjh’s performance and how he plans to showcase Punjabi music on the international stage.
