August 23: A 22-year-old man died after a car accident on Highway 401 in Mississauga on Thursday night. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the westbound express lanes near Renforth Drive. According to Ontario Provincial Police, the car hit a streetlight pole in the median for unknown reasons, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
