BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton is proud to announce the return of the annual Winter Lights Festival, a beloved two-day event marking the start of the holiday season in Brampton. Presented by Fieldgate Developments, this year’s festival will take place on November 15 and 16, offering a magical weekend filled with festive fun, family-friendly activities and heartwarming traditions.

Friday, November 15
Tree Lighting & Miracle on Main Street
Time: 6 to 10 pm
Locations: Ken Whillans Square, Main Street South, Wellington Street, City Hall Atrium, Gage Park
Enjoy holiday fun with carolers, activations, food vendors, amusement rides and winter lights displays perfect for the whole family.
Official Tree Lighting Ceremony
Time: 6:45 pm
Location: Ken Whillans Square
Experience the magic of the holiday season Friday night with the official tree lighting ceremony, presented by Alectra. In Ken Whillans Square, residents are invited to experience the 60 ft. spruce tree coming to life with more than 10,000 lights.
Saturday, November 16
“Brampton” Winter Artist Market hosted by the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO)
Time: 11 am to 5 pm
Location: Brampton Library, Springdale Branch
Shop one-of-a-kind works from Brampton artists and arts organizations. Enjoy live music and free, festive activities for the entire family.
Brampton Santa Claus Parade, presented by the Rotary Club of Brampton
Time: 5 pm
Location: Bramalea Road (parade begins at Bramalea Road and Central Park Drive)

Admission is free for Friday’s events with the donation of a new unwrapped toy in support of local Brampton organizations, in partnership with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation.
