Four Charged In Toronto Drug Trafficking And Firearms Bust As Police Recover Loaded Weapons And Drug Paraphernalia

14 Dec: The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of four arrests made in a Drug Trafficking and Firearms investigation.

It is alleged that:

  • on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, members of 14 Division, Community Response Unit, were patrolling the area of Queen Street West and Bathurst Street
  • officers observed a drug deal between two people

Nathaniel Williams, 38, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

  1. Traffic a Schedule 1 Substance
  2. Assault with Intent to Resist or Prevent Arrest
  3. Possess Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking
  4. Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained by Crime Under $5000

The Toronto Police Drug Squad were simultaneously conducting an investigation into Nathaniel Williams and a search warrant was executed.

It is alleged that:

  • at the time of the search, officers recovered two loaded firearms, ammunition, three replica firearms, a bayonet and drug paraphernalia
  • three men were located in the residence and were arrested and charged

Images of the firearms have been released.

Nathaniel Williams was additionally charged with:

  1. Two counts of Traffic in Schedule I Substance
  2. Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
  3. Two counts of Possess Firearm Without Holding a License
  4. Two counts of Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly not Holding a License and Registration Certificate
  5. Two counts of Store Firearm Carelessly
  6. Three counts of Store Ammunition Carelessly
  7. Fail to Comply with Release Order

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 402.

Mubarek Ajetunmobi, 18, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Two counts of Possess Firearm Without Holding a License
  2. Two counts of Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly not Holding a License and Registration Certificate
  3. Two counts of Store Firearm Carelessly
  4. Three counts of Store Ammunition Carelessly
  5. Breach of Probation Order

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 402.

Emmanuel Grant, 19, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Two counts of Possess Firearm Without Holding a License
  2. Two counts of Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly not Holding a License and Registration Certificate
  3. Two counts of Store Firearm Carelessly
  4. Three counts of Store Ammunition Carelessly
  5. Breach of Probation Order
  6. Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 402.

Joel Drummond, 18, of Oshawa, has been arrested and charged with:

  1. Two counts of Possess Firearm Without Holding a License
  2. Two counts of Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly not Holding a License and Registration Certificate
  3. Two counts of Store Firearm Carelessly
  4. Three counts of Store Ammunition Carelessly

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 402.
