Canadians across the country are being invited to come together in celebration of the International Day of Yoga 2026 through a series of vibrant community events promoting mindfulness, wellness, and unity.
The celebrations will take place in three major Canadian cities, bringing together participants of all ages and backgrounds to embrace the timeless practice of yoga and its message of harmony and well-being. Events are scheduled for June 20, 2026 at Queen’s Park in Toronto, June 21, 2026 on the lawns of Parliament Hill in Ottawa, and June 20, 2026 at David Lam Park in Vancouver.
Organizers say the initiative aims to encourage people to reconnect with themselves, nature, and the wider global community through yoga, which continues to grow in popularity as a practice supporting both physical and mental well-being.
Held under the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the 2026 celebrations will highlight the importance of balance, mindfulness, and collective wellness in today’s fast-paced world. Participants are encouraged to join the community gatherings and experience the spirit of togetherness and harmony that yoga promotes worldwide.
