A Florida judge has officially declared Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner divorced and single, finalizing a confidential agreement reached by the couple. This decision comes one year after Jonas, the 35-year-old singer from the Jonas Brothers, initially filed for divorce from Turner, the 28-year-old actress known for “Game of Thrones” and “X-Men.”
The Miami-Dade County judge approved the settlement on Friday, resolving issues related to asset division, spousal support, and custody of their two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. The judge noted that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and deemed the agreement, particularly the parenting plan, to be in the best interest of the family.
The couple’s split, which began as a potentially contentious custody battle, ended relatively quickly and amicably. Their marriage, which started in 2019, had briefly become public and complicated when Turner sought to move their children to England, a move Jonas initially resisted. However, the custody dispute was settled earlier this year.
Both Jonas and Turner have remained mostly silent on the details of the settlement, with representatives for each declining to comment further.
