The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a Uttering Threats investigation.
On Thursday, June 1, 2023, at approximately 10:44 a.m., police were called to a location in the Greenwood Avenue and Mortimer Avenue area.
It is alleged that:
- a man entered a location and made threatening remarks about shooting Toronto mayoral candidates
- the man brandished what appeared to be a firearm
Junior Francois Lavagesse, 29, of Toronto, is wanted for:
- Threaten Bodily Harm
- Carry Concealed Weapon
- Weapons Dangerous
He is described as 6’1″, 180 lbs., with black hair in locks.
He should be considered armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
