Mississauga mayoral candidate Alvin Tedjo meets with ethnic media ahead of municipal election

Mississauga mayoral candidate Alvin Tedjo hosted an ethnic press roundtable at the John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre on October 20, bringing together media representatives from the city’s diverse communities ahead of the October 26 municipal election.

The gathering provided an opportunity for journalists representing multicultural communities to engage with Tedjo, raise questions, and discuss issues affecting Mississauga residents. The event underscored the role of ethnic media in connecting political candidates with communities across the city and encouraging broader participation in municipal discussions.

Held at 4300 Cawthra Road, the event featured a media roundtable from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., followed by a campaign rally at 7 p.m. that included remarks from Tedjo.

The event formed part of Tedjo’s campaign outreach efforts as candidates continued connecting with voters and addressing local priorities in the final days leading up to Mississauga’s municipal election.
