New Mississauga mayor Carolyn Parrish has announced immediate major changes to the city’s senior leadership. Shari Lichterman, the city’s highest-ranking staffer, is no longer with the city. This change was announced following Parrish’s election. Geoff Wright has been appointed as the new city manager and chief administrative officer (CAO) to replace Lichterman, effective immediately. Parrish expressed gratitude for Lichterman’s years of service and contributions, wishing her well in future endeavors.
