The Toronto Police Service has arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in High Park on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at approximately 10:40 p.m., police responded to a call for a sexual assault at High Park in the Howard Park Avenue and Parkside Drive area.
It is reported that:
- the female victim was walking on a paved pathway in the High Park area
- the victim was approached from behind by an unknown male suspect
- the suspect dragged the victim into a wooded area of the park, where she was sexually assaulted
- the victim was able to get away from the suspect and sought assistance from a passerby in the area who called police
- the suspect fled the area
- the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault
The suspect is described as a male, Black, with a dark complexion, 5’10” tall, 30 to 40 years old, slim, with an athletic build. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and dark-coloured pants.

On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Cortny Henry, 35, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Overcome resistance by choking
- Sexual Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- Uttering Threats
- Forcible Confinement
- Robbery
- Fail to Comply with Probation
- Unlawfully Possess Schedule I Substance
He was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday July 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Ave West, in room 301.
An image of the accused has been released. Police believe there may be more victims.
