Panorama India Presents Indian Independence Day Celebrations on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto

Panorama India, with the support of the Consulate General of India, Toronto and its Sponsors andMedia Partners is all set to celebrate India’s 76th anniversary of Indian Independence Day onAugust 20th, 2023 at Nathan Philip Square.We would be gathering to celebrate the vibrant culture, art and heritage of India besides enjoyingthe Grand Parade around the streets of the square. Nathan Phillips Square will once again betransformed into a lively place as we immerse ourselves in the sites, sounds, and flavors of India.We are delighted to hold this exciting festival to celebrate India Day in an accessible way whilefollowing all city rules and regulations. The India Day event is free and will run from 12:00 Noon to10:00 pm. This is a unique and historic event that will bring all the Indo-Canadian individuals &organizations together to rejoice on a common platform.Panorama India is a not-for-profit umbrella organization established in 1999, that bonds variousIndo-Canadian organizations & groups, to celebrate & depict unity in diversity with their richculture & heritage. Panorama India provides a platform for the Indian cultural diaspora in Torontoto exhibit and showcase their arts and culture. The organization fosters a better understandingbetween India and Canada and is proud to build bi-lateral relations with India and Canada throughculture.We can only do this with the immense support of our sponsors, TD Canada, SBI Bank Canada,Ontario, TransEmerge, Nanda Lawyers, Rajdhani, Maharaja Bhog, ICICI Bank Canada and MennonLaw.We organize these events for our communities, and our Media Partners help us to spread the wordand ensure that every Indian can soak in the patriotic energy. We would like to thank our 55 Mediapartners who have helped us with this.

We have some amazing highlights: The Patriotic Segment where you can witness the patrioticsongs & performances. This time we will have 100+ children perform on stage together in thissegment. The Grand Parade sponsored by TD where one would see Floats showcasing the culture& heritage of Indian States & many other Indo Canadian Organizations participating in the SareeDhoti Walk and be part of the Parade with their Banners & flags. A memorable Parade showcasingUnity in Diversity & depicting an Inclusive environment on the common platform of PanoramaIndia. We would also have a Cultural segment with folk and classical performances from differentstates of India.In addition to that, we would have various booths featuring Indian food, Jewelry, clothing andservices which can be experienced by our audience.In the evening the audience would enjoy performances by our headliner Band – Sargam. Towardsthe end of the program one can enjoy and dance to the tunes of Neeraj Shridhar also known asBombay Vikings.

We would also want to appreciate the efforts that are put in by out volunteers who work tirelesslyto ensure that all the background tasks are done on point.The Panorama India Board of Directors along with all the Indo-Canadian communities are workingtirelessly to make this Festival a grand success.We would like to request each & every individual who would like to experience India in a nutshell, tobe there at Nathan Phillips Square on the 20th of August 2023. Let’s get together and make theIndian Independence celebration a memorable one.
