Peel Public Health is excited to announce the expansion of service hours at two clinic locations to support new parents with timely, hands-on infant feeding support.
Beginning May 4, 2026, Baby Feeding Support clinics at 10 Peel Centre Drive in Brampton and 6975 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle in Mississauga will offer expanded services.
Peel region continues to see a growing number of births every year, with more than 17,000 babies born in 2024. This has increased the need for postpartum support. Last year, Peel Public Health nurses provided free infant feeding support at more than 3,500 appointments.
Infant feeding support is a critical, time-sensitive intervention that directly impacts the long-term health of both mother and baby. Expanding service hours in the Baby Feeding Support clinics means more families will be able to access support in a timely manner, helping set the foundation for healthy outcomes for both parent and baby
Clinic hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Appointments are made available to residents following a referral from a healthcare provider, local hospitals and through Peel’s Multichannel Contact Centre.

Quotations
“My experience (at the Baby Feeding Support clinic) was truly wonderful, and I felt it was important to recognize the impact (Peel Public Health staff) had on my breastfeeding journey. They were extremely patient, kind and knowledgeable throughout every interaction. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable and supported. Thanks to their guidance and encouragement, I was able to successfully transition from exclusively pumping to exclusively breastfeeding, which was my personal goal.
Their support truly enhanced my breastfeeding journey and gave me the confidence I needed during a time that can feel overwhelming for new mothers. I learned so much from them, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care and dedication they showed. (The Baby Feeding Support Clinic) made a meaningful difference for my baby and me, and I feel very fortunate to have had their support.”
