Peel Region Sees 231 Robberies, Including 68 Gun-Related Incidents, in Mississauga and Brampton Over Last Three Months

Crime continues to be a serious issue in Mississauga and Brampton, with armed robberies being a constant threat. Over the past three months, there have been an average of three or more robberies each day in the two cities. Peel Regional Police reported a total of 231 robberies between May 24 and August 24, with 118 incidents in Mississauga and 113 in Brampton.

Among these robberies, 68 involved guns, 66 were committed with other weapons, and one was a purse snatching. Police categorized 96 other incidents under general robbery cases.
