Rowena Santos Campaign Teams Up with Local Artists & The Chance Centre

The Rowena Santos re-election campaign is excited to launch a fun, feel-good community project that brings together local artists, volunteers, and a great local social enterprise to celebrate everything we love about Brampton: our creativity, diversity, and strong community spirit.

The campaign worked with talented Brampton sisters Rommy and Yesenia Erazo Reyes, artists of Salvadoran descent who create beautiful work in both traditional and digital styles. Together, they designed a vibrant, one-of-a-kind piece of art that showcases Rowena’s leadership, her many accomplishments, and the exciting progress happening across the city.

You’ll see highlights like the new TMU Medical School and Integrated Health Centre, support for seniors, first responders, environmental projects, better roads and infrastructure, and the beautiful Riverwalk – all wrapped up in a design that feels proud, positive, and full of Brampton energy.

This artwork now appears on a special campaign poster and on cool “Team Santos” t-shirts that our volunteers will proudly wear while out knocking on doors.

The t-shirts were proudly made right here in Brampton, by The Chance Centre, a local non-profit social enterprise that provides meaningful jobs and skills training for neurodivergent individuals. The Chance Centre has also been chosen as an official licensee for the FIFA World Cup.

“I love that Brampton is packed with so much talent, creativity, and kindness,” said Rowena Santos. “This campaign is about more than politics – it’s about bringing people together, supporting our local artists, backing amazing local organizations, and celebrating the folks who make our city such a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I’m really proud we’re partnering with these amazing artists and The Chance Centre.”

Rowena has always been a strong champion for the arts, culture, festivals, and community events. Her passion comes from her own experience as a performer with her band Point of Order and her annual International Women’s Day music videos created with local musicians. As a founding member of the Brampton Arts Organization, she continues to fight for more support for our artists and cultural scene.

“Great communities are built by people who show up and get involved,” Santos added. “Whether you’re volunteering, creating art, running a small business, or simply helping your neighbour, every bit counts. That’s the positive energy we want this campaign to spread.”

“Building on the momentum as an official licensee for the FIFA World Cup, we continue to be grateful to partner with organizations and community leaders who recognize the value and potential of the individuals we support. Projects like this provide meaningful work experience, skills development, and opportunities for our participants to contribute to initiatives that are visible throughout the community. We thank Rowena Santos and her re-election campaign for supporting inclusive employment and helping showcase the talents of the people we serve.”

“We were so excited when Rowena approached us with this project. Having the chance to contribute to this campaign as artists was truly rewarding. Rowena has supported us since our very first artist market and continues to show up for Brampton’s arts community in meaningful and consistent ways. We have seen how present and involved she is, and we wanted to reflect that in a bold, detailed poster that highlights her efforts and shares a positive, inspiring vision of the city.”
