Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged three men and one woman with firearm-related offences.
On Sunday, June 4, 2023, at approximately 11:53 p.m., officers investigated a vehicle in the area of Northwest Drive and Zahavy Way in the City of Mississauga. As a result, officers seized a loaded 9mm 3D-printed handgun.
Rohan Powell, 19-years-old from Brampton; Jahair Cooper, 26-years-old from Brooklyn, NY; Joval McGeachie, 36-years-old from Brampton; and Annecia Delany, 27 years old from Toronto, have been charged with the following offences:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
They were all held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
