York Regional Police have charged three youths and are searching for two additional suspects following a home invasion in Markham on October 28, 2024. Around 4 a.m., five suspects, at least two armed with hammers, forced their way into a home near Steeles Avenue East and Grandview Avenue, demanding keys to the resident’s Ferrari and BMW SUV.
Officers later located the suspects’ vehicle, a stolen Acura TLX, leading to the arrest of two youths and the recovery of the BMW and Ferrari at separate locations. A third suspect was apprehended on October 30 following a search in Vaughan.
Police are still seeking two suspects, described as male and 16 to 20 years old, who were seen wearing dark clothing. The investigation continues, with police requesting any relevant video surveillance or dashcam footage.
