Trillium Health Partners Highlights A Year Of High-quality, Connected Patient Care

Yesterday, Trillium Health Partners (THP) shared its accomplishments from the past fiscal year (April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023), with a focus on high- quality, connected care and partnering for better health outcomes. THP has remained committed to working closely with health system partners, community leaders and local organizations to build a stronger, healthier community and a more equitable health care system.
“Thank you to all the staff, professional staff, learners and volunteers at THP for your ongoing commitment to our patients, their families, and our community,” said Christine Magee, Board Chair, THP. “Your commitment to living THP’s values of courage, compassion and excellence is evident in the work you do every day.”
In advancing THP’s mission to create a new kind of health care for a healthier community, the hospital celebrated a number of milestones, including:
 The launch of THP@Home, a new community based program designed to help people transition from hospital to home faster and safer by creating personalized home care plans, in partnership with CANES Community Care.
 The advancement of Canada’s largest health infrastructure project, Trillium HealthWorks, by signing a Development Phase Agreement with ED+PCL Healthcare Partners for the future home of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital, and issuing an Request for Proposal (RFP) for the future home of The Gilgan Family Queensway Health Centre.
 A monumental $75 million donation from Mississauga‐based Orlando Corporation, the largest corporate match donation in Canadian history, which will be used to help fund Trillium HealthWorks projects.
 Improved access to multi-language and dialect care by launching Voyce, an app-based language interpretation service, allowing patients to receive care 24/7 in over 240 languages and dialects.
 Being named one of Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals and one of the top five hospitals for research spending growth by Research Infosource Inc.
“THP is so grateful for the continued support from our community, health system partners and all levels of government. This ongoing support enables us to take the necessary steps to continually improve the delivery of high-quality care both inside and outside our hospital walls,” said Karli Farrow, President and CEO, THP. “As we look ahead, we are excited about the future of health care in Mississauga and West Toronto, and are focused on delivering connected, patient- centered care.”

“We could not be more grateful for our community’s record-breaking generosity that honours the outstanding work of our hospital colleagues as, together, we advance a new kind of health care,” said Caroline Riseboro, President and CEO, THP Foundation.
