During his second visit to India, Secretary of State Marco Rubio laid a wreath today at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace Hotel to honor the 166 victims, including six Americans, killed in the coordinated terrorist attacks of November 26, 2008.  The Secretary strongly condemned the attacks and reaffirmed the United States’ unwavering solidarity with the people of India.

Secretary Rubio underscored the Trump Administration’s commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring that those responsible for acts of terrorism are brought to justice, including individuals facing charges for their roles in planning the 2008 Mumbai attacks.  His visit reinforced the shared U.S.-India commitment to combating terrorism and securing justice for victims worldwide.
