The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, officers responded to a call for a Sexual Assault in the Weston Road and Bellevue Crescent area.
It has been reported that:
- a male followed the first female victim off the elevator in a building, brandished a knife towards her and attempted to force her into the stairwell
- the victim was able to escape by quickly entering her apartment and locking her door
- the male then entered a laundry room in the same building
- a second victim was inside the laundry room when she was approached by the male
- the woman was sexually assaulted at knifepoint
- the male then fled the building
On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, a 14-year-old boy, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual Assault with a Weapon
- Assault with a Weapon
He is scheduled to appear in court at 21 Panaroma Court, at the North West Justice Centre, on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 1 p.m., room JC.
