Speaking via a video message from Kyrgyzstan, Modi attributed the strong economic performance—which surpassed market expectations despite ongoing global volatility—to the hard work and collective resolve of the Indian people.
Addressing the broader geopolitical climate, the Prime Minister highlighted that India’s rapid expansion comes at a time when the world is grappling with war, persistent supply chain disruptions, and widespread instability leftover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Data released ahead of his address confirmed the domestic economy’s resilience, even as global uncertainties and conflict in the Middle East, including Iran, threaten international economic momentum.
To sustain this growth and cushion the country against external shocks, PM Modi urged citizens to embrace Swadeshi by prioritizing domestic products and services.
