Pizza Nova held its 29th annual charity golf tournament on June 2nd in support of longtime partner Villa Charities. Together with its vendors, partners and supporters, Pizza Nova raised $95,974 for the organization.

Hosted at Station Creek Golf Club, the event hosted more than 236 participants. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support Villa Charities’ work enriching the lives of seniors and members of the Italian-Canadian community.

“Our annual golf tournament reflects our ongoing commitment to community investment and supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference,” said Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova. “The continued success of this event would not be possible without the support of our team, suppliers, partners and friends. We are grateful to stand alongside Villa Charities and help support its mission of providing care, services and community connection.”

Pizza Nova’s partnership with Villa Charities Inc. spans more than 28 years, during which the company has raised over $850,000 in support of the organization. These contributions have helped advance key priorities at Villa Colombo Toronto, a long-term care home dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally enriched care for seniors.

Funds raised through this longstanding partnership have supported meaningful enhancements to the resident experience, including new furnishings for the home’s central fountain area and the purchase of eight state-of-the-art resident beds. In recognition of Pizza Nova’s exceptional commitment and generosity, Villa Charities honoured the Primucci Family in 2024 with the unveiling of the Primucci Family Centre at Villa Colombo Toronto.

“Pizza Nova has been an extraordinary partner for nearly three decades, helping us enhance the care, comfort, and quality of life of seniors in our community,” said Marco DeVuono, President and CEO of Villa Charities Inc. “As an ethno-specific long-term care home, Villa Colombo Toronto integrates Italian culture, traditions, language, and values into daily life and care. The generosity of Domenic Primucci, the Pizza Nova team, and their partners has made a lasting difference in the lives of our residents and their families. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s campaign.”
