TORONTO, ONTARIO – NOVEMVBER 24th, 2023 – Provocative in design, agile in performance, and a feast for the senses. That’s the Lexus IS – the luxury sport sedan that’s not only track tested, but required a whole new track to create. New this year, Lexus upgrades the standard equipment in four packages then adds three new packages to offer Canadian guests a choice of 10 grades.
“Our Shimoyama test track in Japan was built to develop the foundations of the Lexus driving signature, starting with the current IS model. This world-class test circuit of 5.3 km of curves, slopes and multiple surfaces allowed our professional racing drivers to push the IS to its limits. The result has given rise to a new way of expressing the relationship between driver and vehicle that ensures the IS delivers the best possible driving experience,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “For 2024, we created three new packages and then improved four other configurations, making the IS an even more compelling luxury sports sedan than ever.”
As a luxury sport sedan, the IS puts performance front and centre. Every model expresses the Lexus Driving Signature – developed, tested, and proven on the track. The result is a sedan that forges deeper connections between the driver, the vehicle, and the road.
Lexus offers the IS series in three distinct powertrains, as follows:
- IS 300 AWD models feature a direct injection 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, tuned to produce 260 peak horsepower and up to 236 lb-ft of torque. This model features the Lexus dynamic torque all-wheel-drive system for elevated confidence and control.
- IS 350 AWD models feature the same direct injection 3.5L naturally aspirated V6, mated to a six-speed sport direct shift automatic transmission. This powertrain is tuned to produce 311 peak horsepower and up to 280 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the pavement via the Lexus dynamic torque all-wheel-drive system.
- IS 500 RWD models feature a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 and direct shift eight-speed automatic transmission. This rear-wheel-drive configuration delivers 472 peak horsepower and up to 394 lb-ft of torque, and is capable of launching the IS from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
The 2024 Lexus IS is as thrilling to view as it is to drive. From its low and wide stance to its bold front fascia and muscular silhouette, every feature and form speaks to this luxury sport sedan’s athletic abilities. Sleek headlamps emphasize the vehicle’s low centre of gravity while sharp character lines and muscular fenders define its profile. At the rear, a unique, L-shaped blade-style light bar spans the vehicle – creating a dynamic lasting impression. And each IS model rides on grade-specific wheels. Depending on trim level, body colours include Cloudburst Grey, Iridium, Eminent White Pearl, Grecian Water, and Caviar, while F SPORT models are offered in a choice of Infrared, Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, Ultra White, Cloudburst Grey, Iridium, Caviar, and Incognito.
Inside, the IS welcomes up to five adults to a cabin designed to stir the soul and inspire the desire to drive. Front row seats trimmed in NuLuxe hold driver and navigator in firm comfort – ideal for long trips and spirited adventures. Sporty touches and intelligent amenities abound. Depending on configuration, standard interior colours schemes include Black, Glazed Caramel, and Rioja Red, while select F SPORT models are offered in Black, White, and Circuit Red.
Every 2024 IS features advanced yet intuitive technology features, headlined by the Lexus Enform System including Service Connect and Safety Connect. Other technology features include display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and integrated Sirius XM Satellite radio.
As a Lexus, every IS is impressively equipped with state of the art safety features. All models are fitted with Lexus Safety System + 2.5 – a portfolio of Lexus active safety technologies that supports the driver’s awareness and decision-making under a range of traffic conditions and contingencies. Other standard safety systems include the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, the Lexus Star Safety System, 10 airbags, an on-board first aid kit, anti-theft alarm system, and a tire pressure monitor system.

The 2024 Lexus IS 300 AWD Premium welcomes guests to the Lexus luxury sport sedan experience. This model features a 10-speaker Lexus Display Audio system with an 8” touch screen, 18” alloy wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, a power moon roof, heated steering wheel, backup camera, and integrated garage door opener.
The 2024 Lexus IS 300 AWD Luxury enhances the Premium configuration, adding a 10.3” touch screen, Lexus Navigation with Remote, 19” alloy wheels, a driver’s seat memory system, heated and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors, a power tilting / telescoping steering column, clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake, and intuitive parking assist with auto braking.
The 2024 Lexus IS 300 AWD Ultra Luxury builds the Luxury configuration, adding a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, triple beam LED headlamps, and the Panoramic View Monitor system.
Three additional IS 300 AWD configurations feature more aggressive Lexus F SPORT styling, as follows:
New for this year, the 2024 Lexus IS 300 AWD F SPORT DESIGN features a 10-speaker Lexus Display Audio system with an 8” touch screen, heated front seats, a power moon roof, heated steering wheel, backup camera, 19” F SPORT alloy wheels, the F SPORT Exterior Appearance Package, and a rear spoiler.
The 2024 Lexus IS 300 AWD F SPORT 2 builds on the F SPORT DESIGN configuration, adding numerous upgrades. These include a 10.3” touch screen, Lexus Navigation with Remote, a driver’s seat memory system, heated and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors, F SPORT interior design enhancements, instrumentation inspired by the Lexus LFA Super Car, heated and ventilated front seats, an integrated garage door opener, clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake, and intuitive parking assist with auto braking. New this year, this model now features a power tilting / telescoping steering column.
The 2024 Lexus IS 300 AWD F SPORT 3 is an all-new package for this year. Starting with the F SPORT 2 configuration, this vehicle is enhanced with a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, triple beam LED headlamps, and the Panoramic View Monitor system.

The 2024 Lexus IS 350 AWD F SPORT 2 features a 10-speaker Lexus Display Audio system with a 10.3” touch screen, Lexus Navigation with Remote, a power moon roof, 19” F SPORT alloy wheels, F SPORT exterior and interior design enhancements, instrumentation inspired by the Lexus LFA Super Car, a driver’s seat memory system, power adjustable front seats, heated and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors, heated steering wheel, backup camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Lexus Smart Key System with Push Button Start, a backup camera, and intuitive parking assist with auto braking. New this year, this model now features a power tilting / telescoping steering column, clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake, and black window frames.
The 2024 Lexus IS 350 AWD F SPORT 3 enhances the F SPORT 2 configuration’s performance and amenities. This model receives a Dynamic Handling Package, which includes special 19” forged BBS wheels, the Lexus Adaptive Variable Suspension system, and Drive Mode Select system with SPORT+ Mode. This model also receives a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, triple beam LED headlamps, and the Panoramic View Monitor system. New for 2024, this model is further enhanced with a rear spoiler.

The 2024 Lexus IS 500 F SPORT PERFORMANCE features the Dynamic Handling Package, including the Lexus Adaptive Variable Suspension system and Drive Mode Select system with SPORT+ Mode, plus 19” Enkei gloss black wheels and a Torsen limited slip differential. Other features include a power moon roof, triple beam LED headlamps, 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, IS 500 tachometer cluster, heated steering wheel, driver’s seat memory system, heated, auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors, dual zone automatic climate control, the Panoramic View Monitor system, and clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake. New for 2024, this model is now equipped with a power tilting / telescoping steering column.
New for this year, the 2024 Lexus IS 500 SPECIAL APPEARANCE PACKAGE enhances the F SPORT PERFORMANCE model with 19” forged BBS wheels, floor mats with blue stitching, and an exclusive Blue Vector body colour.
