Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has carried out missile strikes targeting an Amazon-linked data centre and U.S. air defence systems in Bahrain, as fighting between Tehran and Washington continues to intensify.
According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, several cruise missiles struck what it described as Amazon’s central data infrastructure in Bahrain. The IRGC also claimed to have targeted U.S. air defence systems and radar installations in the Muharraq and Riffa areas.
The claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate confirmation from Bahrain, Amazon or U.S. officials.
Separately, Kuwait reported attacks on several electricity generation and water desalination facilities, prompting authorities to urge residents to reduce power consumption while repairs are carried out.
The reported strikes come as direct military exchanges between the United States and Iran enter their tenth consecutive day, with Tehran warning it will continue targeting regional infrastructure used by U.S. forces if American military operations persist.
