Living with Wellness Arts Festival 2026 welcomes a record-breaking 100,000 attendees, making history as Mississauga’s Largest Wellness & Arts Festival

The 5th Annual Living with Wellness Arts Festival 2026, presented by TD in partnership with Trillium Health Partners and organized by V Serve Canada, concluded with an unprecedented 100,000 attendees over two spectacular days, making it the largest edition in the festival’s history and one of the biggest community celebrations in Mississauga.

Held at Mississauga Celebration Square on Friday, June 26 (4:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and Saturday, June 27 (12:00 PM – 11:00 PM), the free festival transformed the heart of the city into a vibrant destination celebrating wellness, arts, culture, health education, entertainment and community spirit.

A Historic Opening Night

The festival officially commenced on Friday evening with the TD Inaugural Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, bringing together government leaders, community partners, sponsors and supporters to officially open the landmark fifth edition of the festival.

Following the opening ceremony, the main stage came alive with spectacular performances from local dance academies and cultural groups, celebrating the diversity that defines Mississauga. The evening continued with an electrifying performance by the Poojan Kohli Band, setting the perfect atmosphere before internationally acclaimed Bollywood playback singer Javed Ali took the stage.

Backed by his 12-piece live band, Javed Ali delivered an unforgettable performance featuring many of his timeless hits, captivating thousands of fans who filled Celebration Square. His soulful voice, musical excellence and engaging stage presence created one of the most memorable concert experiences ever witnessed at the festival.

A Celebration of Wellness, Culture and Community
Saturday began on a peaceful and inspiring note with meditation and wellness sessions led by Veenalayam, encouraging visitors to embrace mindfulness before enjoying a full day of cultural programming.

Throughout the day, more than 400 performers representing music, dance, martial arts, wellness demonstrations and multicultural performances showcased their talents on the festival’s main stage. Among the audience favourites was the dynamic performance by JSAL, alongside dozens of outstanding artists representing communities from around the world.

Official Ceremony Celebrates Strong Community Partnerships

The festival’s official ceremony recognized the remarkable partnerships that continue to make Living with Wellness Arts Festival possible.

A Grand Finale to Remember

The festival concluded with an exciting evening featuring Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan, who delighted thousands of fans during his special appearance.

The energy continued late into the evening as DJ Alfaa hosted the festival’s first-ever Outdoor Bollywood DJ Night, transforming Celebration Square into one of the largest outdoor dance celebrations the city has seen.

Wellness Beyond the Stage

Living with Wellness Arts Festival is far more than entertainment—it is a platform for health, education and community engagement.

Festivalgoers participated in numerous interactive experiences including:

Visitors also explored a bustling festival marketplace featuring 60 vendors, including 22 global food vendors, artisan businesses, community organizations and local entrepreneurs. The marketplace celebrated the rich diversity of Mississauga while supporting small businesses and creating an unforgettable festival experience for attendees of all ages.

A Festival Experience Like No Other

From the vibrant Red-Carpet arrivals to family activities, wellness experiences, live performances and multicultural celebrations, the atmosphere throughout the weekend reflected the spirit of inclusion, diversity and community that defines Living with Wellness Arts Festival.

A Safe and Successful Celebration

One of the festival’s greatest achievements extended beyond attendance.

Despite welcoming an extraordinary 100,000 visitors over two days, the event concluded peacefully with:
• No major incidents or public safety concerns
• No significant disturbances or altercations
• A clean and well-maintained Celebration Square at the conclusion of the event
• Outstanding collaboration between Peel Regional Police, City of Mississauga staff, security teams, volunteers and organizers

The festival stands as a model of how large-scale community events can be delivered safely, responsibly and respectfully while bringing together tens of thousands of people from every background.
